El Palacio Restaurant Reviews

We came upon this place by chance and we're so happy we did. The food is amazing, from the pastries to the entrées. The service was friendly and the vibe is warm and inviting. We cannot wait to return!

This morning after I got off work, I was craving pupusas. A quick Yelp search helped me discover El Palacio. It was pretty close to the yard where I park my truck. When I came in, I sat down on the bar and I waited a few moments before they offered me the menu and asked what I wanted to drink. For the food I ordered 2 Pupusas. 1 chicharron, 1 revuelta . It took about 10 minutes to receive the food and it was fresh, and warm. The revuelta one which is mixed with cheese beans and chicharron, was amazing. The chicharron one was also good, just didn't have the same flavors as the revuelta. Each pupusa $3 or less Music was playing the whole time at semi high level, which I personally enjoy. Last but not least, the ambiance is very relaxed and what you would expect from a neighborhood Latin restaurant. Not upscale, so don't feel offended if you're not catered to like a King/Queen. PLEASE GET THE PUPUSA REVUELTA! Enjoy!!!

I've ordered breakfast from this place 2 times this week and it was delicious. The baleadas and pupusas are some of the best I've had! The horchata was so yummy too. I can't wait until these coronavirus restrictions are lifted so I can eat there in person. My only very small complaint is that they put milk and sugar in my coffee when I didn't ask. But that's sort of a Latino thing lol I'll just remember to say something next time.

Ambiance: Restaurant is clean and well organized. There is a bar for quick bite, cappuccino, Fresh juices, etc. They have TVs all around. Food and Drinks: We had pineapple and papaya juices with was water (you can also have with milk). It was fresh and delicious (no ice). Chips and salsa came as complementary. We enjoyed them; just enough heat. I had Al Pastor tacos (corn tortilla). Pork was well seasoned and hint of pineapple. Tortilla (2x) were fresh. My wife had Chicken enchiladas. She loved those. Staff: Very curious waiter. She was patient and answered few questions we had. Give these guys a try. Enjoy

The pupusas here are the best! Super fresh, with a good variety of fillings including loroco! They are served with curtido (pickled cabbage) and tomato salsa, which is not super spicy. I love the chicken and the suprema, as well as the loroco. Seriously, the best pupusas in this area by far! They have a really eclectic menu to go with the diner-esque decor, with a bakery case in the back. To be honest, I usually just get pupusas and a horchata which are more than enough for a meal, but their entrees are humongous! Street parking is available, and they are open til 11pm.

Went here for a quick bite on our way to the mall. It was kind of empty on a Monday night. I am goad we stopped by. I ordered the daily special that comes with soup, a second dish with rice and a drink. It was delicious! The food was fresh and a good portion for dinner. My son ordered pupusas and it took a little while to come out but it was well worth it. They fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and on point. I recommend this place for any time of the day. They also had a bakery section so you can stop for a coffee and pastry.
